The Town Council works in informal partnership with local organisations and businesses to illuminate the main shopping areas in Loftus Town centre over the Christmas period. This includes motifs on lamp-posts (where permitted) and buildings, and the Christmas Tree outside Loftus Town Hall. In addition, organisations putting up lights in the villages may apply for small grants towards the cost.
